Of typcial form, the knights as carved horses' heads
The king -- 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) high; the pawn -- 1 1/8 in. (3 cm.) high; the board -- 12½ in. (31.5 cm.) x 12¾ in. (32.5 cm.)
