The case with brass handle to bell top, pierced soundfrets to the sides, brass dial with signature plaque inscribed Thomas Hlaey London flanked to each side by a subsidaiary ring one for Strike/not STRIKE and one for pendulum regulation, scrolled foliate spandrels, matted centre, pierced iron hands, triple fusee movement, quarter striking on eight bells above, striking the hours on (replaced) bell, backplate engraved with a pagoda; pendulum, door key; alterations
