Nicolas Jean Marchand, maitre circa 1735, is also recorded as ébéniste en pendule in Paris circa 1755. Marchand was established in rue Saint-Nicolas and mainly produced good quality ormolu-mounted commodes as well as clock-cases.

Edme-Jean Causard, Horloger du Roi, circa 1753, he had his workshop on Rue St. Honoré.
