A collection of the Hague-decorated Ansbach porcelain
Mainly late 18th Century, underglaze blue and encre-de-chine stork marks
Comprising a two-handled oval tureen and cover moulded and painted to the bombé body with panels of flowers, with asparagus and vegetable handles, the cover en suite with branch handle, restorations, 35 cm. wide; a milk-jug decorated with flowers, 13.5 cm. high; a sugar-bowl and cover painted with figural scenes, the cover with floral finial, 10 cm. high; a tea-cup, cover and stand painted with cartouches of figural scenes, the stand 14 cm. diam.; a dish decorated to the centre with a river-landscape, the shaped rim with blue border suspending floral garlands, 30.5 cm. diam.; and a plate with a pair of ducks, surrounded by shaped swirling rim, 24.5 cm. diam.
