Late 17th and 18th Century
Comprising a blue and white puzzle-jug painted with a butterfly in a flower-garden, the footrim mounted in metal, 22.2 cm. high; a blue and white Chinoiserie dish decorated with two figures in an interior, the rim with panels of Antiquities, 31.5 cm. diam.; a blue and white 'kraak'-style 'klapmuts' bowl painted to the central roundel with a duck, 15.5 cm. diam.; and an English polychrome saucer dish decorated with an equestrian figure, 21.5 cm. diam., rim cracks, frits and chips (4)

The puzzle-jug with paper label 'Earle Vanderkar of Knightsbridge, New York' attached to the base.
