Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1954 and its subsequent sale on January 25th of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 2482 from 1950 until approximately 1960. This reference is one of their most popular timepieces and was sold with a variety of dial types.

Reference 2482 is illustrated in Patek Philippe by M. Huber and A. Banberry, 1988, plate 270, p. 161.
