Lot Essay

A similar Yongzheng-marked pale celadon-glazed dish was included in the Min Chiu Society exhibition, Monochrome Ceramics of Ming and Ch'ing Dynasties, Hong Kong Museum of Art 1977, no. 72. See also a pair of Yongzheng dishes of this design sold in our New York Rooms, 29 March 2006, lot 111.
