The moulded rectangular top above a panelled fall-front enclosing an arrangement of eight pigeon holes and six birds-eye maple drawers, the three hinged green leather-lined writing surfaces headed by a pen tray and inkwells; above two silk-lined gilt-brass grille doors enclosing a shelf, flanked by carved pilasters on gilt-brass hairy paw feet, the feet possibly replaced
