The moulded borders forming knots at top, centre and base of handles and engraved with the coat of arms of Count Alexander Konstantinovitch Benckendorff, (1846-1917), Russian ambassador to the Court of St.James and chief Russian diplomat in the United Kingdom between 1903 and his death in 1917, comprising 6 table spoons, 10 table forks, 1 dessert spoon, 4 teaspoons and 11 table knives with steel blades
