FLUTE DANCER HOPI KACHINA
Carved from cottonwood with semicircular feet and arms close to the body. The dancer wears one yellow and one light blue boot, a kilt with a painted sash, black body paint with yellow and light blue forearms and circles on the torso, a fringed shawl over the shoulders and a case mask with slit eyes, tab ears, a triangular mouth and rain symbols painted on the cheeks. The head is mounted with six stylized flower elements on dowels.
