LAKOTA BEADED BABY CRADLE
Lane stitched and sinew sewn glass beads on hide. The white field is embellished with bold geometric motifs, identical on the right and left side of the opening. At the bottom are stepped diamonds in light blue and green outlined in dark blue with a line of white heart red through the center and pumpkin orange triangles outlined in dark blue. Above these are stacked triangles alternating white heart red with translucent dark green edges and light blue triangles with dark blue edges. A band of yellow with translucent dark green rectangles runs down the center of the stacked triangles. Crosses of translucent yellow and translucent dark green with a white heart red and white center are outlined in dark blue above the triangle motifs. And at the top of the cradle are translucent gold stacked triangles with translucent dark green edges and dark blue squares within the triangles, the stacked triangles divided by a wide band of light blue with pink and dark blue rectangles within. Geometric beaded designs on tab at back of head.
