There were eleven different porcelain services made with the arms of Ross of Balnagowan in the 18th century, including for several different baronets in the family. Howard notes (op. cit., vol. II, p. 189) that a Ross was with the Swedish East India Co. and brought back armorial tea services in 1742, but no mention is made of enamel.
