The shaped rectangular top inset with green tooled leather and with gadrooned border, above a strapwork-carved frieze with kneehole drawer flanked by two drawers to either side, opposing false drawers, the sides and reverse carved with scenes from Aesop's fables, with acanthus carved apron and on cabriole legs and canted block feet, feet raised
