MAKER'S MARK OF JEAN-BAPTISTE-CLAUDE ODIOT, PARIS, 1809-1819
Oval, the stand supported on four lions' paw feet capped with foliage, with two thin bands of anthemion, the tureen on spreading oval base with similar band below and with gadrooned band above, the body centred with a band of water-leaves and with reeded and acanthus leaf handles at each end, the plain cover with beaded border and with bud finial surrounded with palm leaves and rosettes, fitted with silver liner, fully marked
