The simple clean lines of these three propeller blades form a sculptural centrepiece for an interior setting. These are from an Avro Shackleton aircraft produced by the De Havilland firm; the original hub had six propellers, three front and three just behind which contra-rotate, these three are the front set, the power was provided by a Rolls Royce Griffon engine. The low table is modelled about a turbine engine fan of the type used to power the Avro Vulcan.
