Frank Britton, London Delftware, London, 1987, p. 119, pl. 63 illustrates a similar example from the J. G. Joicey Bequest, in the Museum of London (A.13469).

Of closely related form is the dated mug of 1653, formerly in the collection of the late Marquess of Bute, [sold Christie's, London, 5th December 1994, lot 3], acquired by Syd Levethan and discussed in Leslie B. Grigsby, The Longridge Catalogue, Vol. 2, no. D235, and subsequently sold in the Syd Levethan, The Longridge Collection; Christie's, London, 10 June 2010, lot 1047.

See also John C. Austin, British Delft at Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia, 1994, p. 68, no. 11, footnote 4 where a cylindrical mug of this type is mentioned in conjunction with a discussion of the shards of both plain and embossed white drinking wares.
