CIRCA 1760, ONE TILE AND THE TEA-CANISTER LIVERPOOL, THE OTHER TILE LONDON
One tile and the tea-canister painted in the Fazackerly palette with a shepherd and shepherdess, the reverse of the canister with a shepherdess, the sides with flowers between diaper-pattern sections, the shoulder with floral sprigs within a diaper-pattern band, the cover a 19th century japanned metal replacement, the other tile painted in a bright palette with a flower filled urn
5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high, the tea-canister; 5 in. (12.7 cm.) square, each tile (4)
