Vers 1750
Lame à double tranchant de section octogonale aplatie au niveau du fort, prolongée en une section hexagonale aplatie sur le restant de sa longueur, le fort gravé de volutes au sein d'un cartouche sur les deux faces, conservant les traces d'un fond doré, garde en acier incrustée de volutes d'argent habitées, fusée filigranée d'origine.

A rare small-sword with waved blade
Mid-18th century
With double-edged blade of flattened octagonal section at the forte changing to flattened hexagonal section for the remainder of its length, the forte etched on each side with a panel of scrollwork retaining traces of original gilt ground, steel hilt encrusted with silver scrollwork inhabited by figures, original wire-bound grip.
