A German swept-hilt rapier
First half of the 17th century
With slender shortened double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section cut with a deep central fuller on each side, each fuller with indistinct signature, iron hilt of flattened bars including two swelling outer side-rings, faceted pommel, and replacement wire-bound grip.
