Canon octogonal au tonnerre puis arrondi, en deux registres, daté au tonnerre, avec visée, frappé d'une marque sur le côté gauche, canon en fer muni de rainures, importante platine à corps plat avec rouet enclavé sous coupole et couvre-bassinet à ressort, crosse endommagée, détente, sous-garde en fer.

A German wheel-lock musket
Dated '1614'
With substantial two-stage octagonal to round smoothbore barrel, the breech section dated, with long sighting groove cut into the top flat and struck with a mark on the left side, grooved iron tang, large flat plain lock with enclosed wheel with domed cover and sprung pan-cover with release button, damaged plain three-quarter stock, set triggers, and iron trigger-guard.
