With nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two gongs, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, two subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds, in plain case with engraved initials to the reverse, repeating slide in the band, split second chronograph mechanism operated by one button in the band and through the pendant, cuvette and dial signed
48 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

The Swiss company A. Wittnauer & Co. had offices in Geneva, London and New York and appears to have been Audemars Piguet's agent in New York.
