Unsigned, circa 1820
With gilt finished verge movement, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, the reverse with a painted polychrome enamel and applied varicoloured silver gilt automaton scene depicting the interior of a kitchen with a chicken on a skewer turning in front of a simulated fire in the fireplace, driven by a dog running in a wheel, water is flowing from a fountain, a boy is beating on an anvil and a seated woman is spinning wool, driving the wheel with her foot, activated by sliding a lever under the dial, all set into a later added plain case with ribbed band, unsigned
