With highly engraved gilt finished verge movement, engraved and pierced cock, chain fusée, repeating with two hammers onto a bell, the small white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, surrounded by a painted polychrome enamel lakeside scene and with an applied two colour silver gilt bell and angel apparently striking the bell in unison with the repeating, in plain case, repeating through the pendant, dial and movement signed

It appears that this watch was formerly in the collection of B. Franck, Paris and is illustrated in Le Monde des Automates II by A. Chapuis and E. Gélis, pl. 291.
