The pair of hookah bases decorated overall with a floral motif, one with a central portrait of an Eastern potentate; another hookah base decorated allover with a floral motif and with medallions of Eastern potentates; another of bell-shaped form with turquoise overlay, floral and rococo motifs around portrait roundels depicting Nasr al-Din Shah and Sultan Abdul Hamid II, each vase formed as a hand holding up a vase, with portrait medallions of Eastern potentates
