Levels: three 5cm, one 5.5cm, one 6.5cm; all levels below cork; chipped wax capsules three missing at top and two domaine embossed, lightly corroded capsules, signs of old seepage, two lightly nicked labels, very lightly bin soiled labels
"Fully mature old burg nose with elements of spice, sous bois and earth plus a certain distinction that is hard to describe that is followed by rich, full and surprisingly dense and sweet flavors given the young vine fruit. The finish is long, understated and pure with a seductively mouth coating quality. A really lovely effort that was equaled but not surpassed until the awesome '62." BH, Aril 27, 2007
