Each gilt-metal scroll-moulded base issuing leafy branches mounted with porcelain flowers and twin candle sconces below a rocaille bower, the first mounted with a Meissen figure of girl, standing barefoot, wearing a flowered dress and purple cap, the second with a German porcelain figure of a woman holding a bunch of grapes
