Lot Essay

The ballet Mozartiana, choreographed by George Balanchine and with costumes and decorations by Bérard, was performed by Les Ballets 1933 at the Thétre du Champs-Elysées, Paris on June 7, 1933 with Tamara Toumanova in the starring role.
