The "Jubilee" or "Twentieth-Century" cut is described by Herbert Tillander as an extension of the historical Pointed Star Cut. It has forty facets both on the table and the pavilion, and unusually, the table comes to a convex point at the centre. It was invented in the United States to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1897, but was only briefly undertaken in the beginning of the 1900s.
