A DUTCH POLYCHROME PAINTED IRON WALL CLOCK WITH ALARM 'TWENTSE STOELKLOK'

Of typical form, rectangular iron movement with posted frame, brass wheelwork mounted between three iron strips with separate going and striking train, alarm work mounted to front strip, iron countwheel mounted on the strip to reverse, strike and alarm on large bell above, polychrome painted dial with single hand, circular pierced alarm setting disc to centre, cast pewter ornament with vases to the top flanked with shield bearing lions to each side, surmounted by an (associated?) giltwood figure of atlas, mounted on a shaped green painted oak backboard; two brass weigths and pendulum
