AFTER THE MODELS BY GUILLAUME COUSTOU, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each rearing horse with attendant on naturalistically-cast base, signed 'Coustou', one tapering plinth decorated with scrolled arabesques in première-partie, the other in contre-partie
The bronzes: 22¼ in. (56.5 cm.) high
The plinths: 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; 20 in. (51 cm.) wide; 11 in. (28 cm.) deep (2)
