The serpentine arched superstructure centred by a clock and flanked by twin-light candelabra above an arrangement of drawers and a pigeon-hole, the top with a sliding gilt-tooled tan leather writing surface, above a serpentine apron fitted with three drawers, the sides and back with sunburst parquetry, on cabriole legs headed by rocaille clasps, one drawer lockplate signed 'Millet à Paris'
