The rectangular plate within a stiff-leaf carved surround and 'cushion'-moulded inner frame with Chinoiserie scenes, the pierced trellis-carved outer frame decorated with S-scrolls and foliate trails, the canopy-shaped cresting centred by a Roman emperor profile medallion, the apron centred by a grotesque, refreshments to decoration, the plate probably replaced
