Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Issei [Hasegawa Issei]
Of bulbous form on a short splayed foot and long tapered neck, the body finished with a reddish-brown patina, decorated in copper, silver, gilt and shakudo takazogan and incised details with a mandarin duck on the shore, another duck diving into the water, the reverse with a egret in flight, the neck and foot rim silver; signature on foot
