Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Kyoto ju Miyabe Atsuyoshi and with kao (cursive monogram)
The vases of baluster form with a wide upright neck and dark-brown patina, decorated in copper, silver and shakudo takazogan with ravens, sparrows and a crane variously perched and in flight among snow-covered reeds in a marsh beneath a hazy moon; each with incised signature on base
