Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Atsuyoshi and with kao (cursive monogram)
The flasks with short neck and a chocolate-brown patina, decorated in copper, silver, gilt and shakudo takazogan and incised details with roundels of a cockerel, hen and chicks and with egrets wading in a lotus pond, with writhing dragons encircling the neck and incised clouds above the foot, rims gilt; each with incised signature on base
