Small album of small horizontal prints of views of 1880s Tokyo using Western style and perspective, some signed in the image Inoue Yasuji and others printed in the margins with the artist's name and address in Asakusa Namikicho, double-sided album, now split, of 119 single plates and two double-plates; and 75 loose prints from the same group mounted on paper--generally good impressions, color varying from good to faded, numerous stains and rubbing
koban yoko-e: 4½ x 6¾in. (11.2 x 17.2cm.) each approx.
Inside cover signed Kiyokata and sealed and with box inscribed on lid with artist's name, dated "early Meiji" and inscribed with title Tokyo fukei (Views of Tokyo) and signed on underside of lid Kiyokata zo (collection of [Kaburagi] Kiyokata; 1878-1973) and sealed (76)
