A gold-laquered bronze figure of Amitayus
Tibeto-Chinese, 18th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base elevated by concentric circular disks, the elegant figure cradling the overflowing vase of longevity in his lap, wearing a striated dhoti and billowing sash, adorned with beaded necklaces and disk-shaped earrings, the face with a serene expression and the hair in a high chignon adorned with beaded strands
