Northeastern India, Pala period, 10th/11th century
Seated in bhumisparshamudra over an incised lotus base with beaded rims, the necklace, eyes, and urna inlaid in silver, wearing a foliate crown, the base sealed with an inscription beneath
2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high
