Seated in bhumisparshamudra over a lotus base with beaded and incised rims, the face expressive and his jacket and bracelet inlaid with gold, an inscription on the verso in Ranjana script

The inscription on the verso translates as "Homage to the teacher Lungrig Gyatso!"
