A bronze figure of Manjushri
Kashmir, 9th/10th century
Seated over a double-lotus base, wearing a long dhoti incised with small circles, one hand on his hip holding the utpala stem supporting his manuscript, the other holding his sword aloft, the face with large eyes surmounted by a circlet, with copper-inlaid nipples and lips
