SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
The cup with deep sides divided into six lobes and raised on a slightly flared foot, the stand with dish-shaped top cut with six notches in the rim and with a circular platform in the center, raised on a slightly flared foot divided into six pierced lobes; the ewer of faceted octagonal form with curved spout and ribbed strap handle surmounted by a tubular loop, the cover with a countersunk center and matching loop, all covered with a glaze of pale aqua tone
Cup and stand 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high, stand 5 7/8 in. (15 cm.) wide, ewer and cover 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high (3)
