TWO LONGQUAN CELADON VESSELS
14TH/15TH CENTURY
One a pear-shaped vase slip-decorated around the lower body with a double bow-string band and with another on the neck that joins the two loop handles suspending fixed rings, covered overall with an unctuous, crackled glaze of sea-green color; the other a stem cup, the broad bowl with rounded sides rising to a lipped rim and raised on a slightly tapering ribbed pedestal foot, the center of the interior with a small impressed motif, covered with a glaze of sea-green color suffused with crackle
