Both the larger and the slender smaller vase decorated in high relief with a bird perched in a flowering prunus tree beside a rock and bamboo, the bird on the smaller vase peering at its mate perched on the rock, both incised on the reverse with a chrysanthemum plant, the smaller with a pair of lion mask handles and a ruyi border on the high shoulder
