The stem bowl with deep sides chased with four cartouches enclosing the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang) surrounded by lotus scroll, raised on a tall hollow stem foot encircled by a band of outturned narrow petals, the cover with wide everted rim below a domed area chased with four quatrefoil cartouches of flowers also surrounded by lotus scroll, the whole surmounted by an openwork crown formed by two rows of narrow petals
