Château Margaux--Vintage 1983
Margaux, 1er cru classé
One corroded capsule, four very slightly damaged capsules. Bin-soiled labels, two stained, six slightly damaged. Levels base of neck or better
Tasting note: Unquestionably the wine of the vintage: beautiful colour, medium-deep and still youthful; the inimitable Margaux fragrance soaring out of the glass; sweet, soft and rich. It fills the mouth with flavour and seems to last for ever. Most recently: richly coloured; classic bouquet; delicious fruit and balance. A beautiful wine. Long Life. Last tasted Dec 2005 ***** M.B.
