Lot Essay

Zhu Xinjian was born in Nanjing and graduated from the Nanjing Art Academy in 1980. After teaching at this institution, he designed animated feature film characters at the Shanghai Art Movie Studio, CCTV. His work has been exhibited and collected widely in China and Europe.
