AN ARCHAISTIC GREYISH-GREEN JADE RITUAL VESSEL AND COVER, YOU
17TH/18TH CENTURY
Raised on a spreading foot and carved on either side with a taotie mask between single line borders and beneath a monster mask and a border of key fret at the rim, which is repeated on the domed cover, the vessel flanked by a pair of rings attached to a loop handle carved in low relief with two chilong confronted around a wan emblem, beneath a small suspension tab
