A WELL-CARVED WHITE AND 'RUSSET' JADE DEER GROUP
17TH CENTURY
Carved as a recumbent stag and a fawn lying beside a large stem of lingzhi, the fawn with head turned backwards to look up at the stag proudly grasping a leafy stem of lingzhi in its mouth, the pale greyish-white stone with opaque inclusions and veining and extensive added russest coloring, with soft polish
