A MOTTLED WHITE AND APPLE-GREEN JADEITE BRUSHWASHER
Of shaped rectangular form and raised on four shallow supports, the interior divided into three interconnected sections by two pairs of angular scroll dividers, the exterior carved in openwork at either end with a monster mask handle, and with a scaly dragon supported on trailing clouds as it peers over the rim, with further inquisitive chilong pulling themselves up to the rim, two with lingzhi sprigs grasped in their jaws, the semi-translucent pale greenish-white stone with areas of bright apple-green and dark green color
