The flared rounded sides decorated on the exterior in copper red of dark crushed strawberry tone with three fruit, sanduo, a peach, a pomegranate and a persimmon reserved on a very pale blue-toned ground

Lot Essay

A pair of similar bowls of the same size, also with Yongzheng marks, was included in the exhibition, Splendour of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1992, no. 138. See, also, the pair sold in our Paris rooms, 22 November 2005, lot 102.
